World-renowned cellists perform at Redeemer
The Hungarian father-son cello duo of Csaba and Zoltán Onczay will perform in an afternoon concert on Sun., March 24, at the Church of the Redeemer, 222 S. Palm Ave., Sarasota. Father and son perform together across the globe as "DuOncelly" — a play on words representing the two Onczays and two cellos. This unique concert begins at 4 p.m., and is presented by Redeemer and the Sarasota Kossuth Club.
DuOncelly's concert will feature a combination of well-known and lesser-known pieces for cello; the Hungarian duo has mastered works by Barriere, Haydn, Popper, Albéniz and Paganini, among others.
