Viva 500 - Relive Florida’s History Lecture Series: Cuban Fishing Ranchos in Tampa Bay

On Thursday, September 19, 6:00-7:00pm, Jeff Moates with the Florida Public Archaeology Network will discuss how important the early Spanish/Cuban fishing camps were to the development of Tampa Bay. The talk also includes demonstrations and artifacts. Funding for this program was provided through a grant from the Florida Humanities Council with funds from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
