‘On the job’ training for students at USF Sarasota-Manatee’s College of Hospitality and Technology Leadership just got a little easier with the opening of the school’s new Culinary Innovation Lab in Lakewood Ranch. Officials at USF Sarasota Manatee would like to have one of the country’s best hospitality schools by the year 2020, and to help them on the way, the school has opened a Culinary Innovation Lab in Lakewood Ranch. This week’s University Beat on WUSF 89.7 tells how the lab will help students get the hands-on experience that would-be employers love.
