On the Radio

University Beat doesn’t normally cover graduation ceremonies, but when the words “graduating accounting students” and “dancing flash mob” are involved, we’ll make an exception. That’s coming up this week on WUSF 89.7 FM.
Program Schedule
Radio - During "Morning Edition" on WUSF 89.7 Tuesday after the 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM newscasts | During "All Things Considered" on WUSF 89.7 Tuesday at 5:44 PM | After "Florida Matters" on WSMR 89.1 Friday at 7:30 PM
Television - Tuesdays at 11:55 AM and 8:55 PM, and various times throughout the rest of the week
Video extrasGraduating USF Accounting seniors Stephanie Wagenfohr and Rich Grieder, along with Dr. William Stephens, Professor Emeritus of the USF School of Accountancy, talk about the ‘stereotypical accounting student’ and why that’s wrong. Dr. Stephens, the faculty adviser for USF’s chapter of Beta Alpha Psi for over 30 years, says membership in the accounting honors society provides students many benefits. The flash mob dance celebration at the USF School of Accountancy Graduation Reception, shot by USF students Sean Brown and Sarah Wilson. |
