The Republican Senate primary campaign in Florida has heated up fast, after information about Connie Mack IV's legal past was published in Tampa and Miami - and then used in some animated ads on the internet by his main opponent, former Sen. George LeMieux. The ad paints Mack as the "Charlie Sheen" of Florida politics. Sen. LeMieux tells WUSF's Craig Kopp that he wants to talk about substantive issues in this campaign, but he thinks character is an issue too and sees these ads as a way to get that message out.
