Corporations Clean Up On State Trust Fund
The Florida Center for Investigative reporting says that the Inland Protection Trust Fund -- paid for with a tax on gas wholesalers and -- eventually -- consumers -- has become something of a corporate welfare account for businesses. The Center of Investigative Reporting's Trevor Aaronson says the fund was set up to clean up leaky abandoned gas stations in the state.
