Polk Hurricane Expo Planned Saturday

Only 40 miles from Florida's west coast and about 60 from the eastern shore, recent experiences have taught Polk County that hurricanes aren't just coastal storms. So, county officials conducted a practice drill just a day after Alberto and are planning a public hurricane expo this Saturday.
