Kids Photography Workshop: In this class students will learn about William Wegman's "Weimaraners" and Cindy Sherman. They will discuss how art can be considered non-functional and how their photographs can tie into everyday life. Students will share their thoughts on the two photographers and will be able to use props to dress themselves up and portray their own stories with photography. The students will write a simple statement about their photographs and put them in a portfolio they will take home at the end of the class. Students should wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes, bring their camera, flash drive and a snack/beverage. Museum has point and shoot cameras available for use.
