Jazz is full of family connections, and we’ll explore some of them this week on a ‘Jazz Dads’ edition of Saturday Night Jazz. Bob Seymour brings you collaborations including the Pizzarelli and Clayton families, and artists such as Kenny Drew, Jr., the Brubeck Brothers, and T.S. Monk, performing their fathers’ compositions. Pianist Earl ‘Fatha’ Hines makes an appearance, and Horace Silver’s classic Song For My Father will turn up at least once, too, on this week’s show.
