Identifying Elements of Art Through Photography: Color and Contrast

Kids Photography Workshop:
In this class students will look at examples of color/contrast in photography. They will learn about Anne Geddes and Ansel Adams. They will discuss how color, or the lack of can evoke emotion. They will take pictures inside and outside of the museum. The students will write a simple statement about their photographs and put them in a portfolio they will take home at the end of the class. Students should wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes, bring their camera, flash drive and a snack/beverage. Museum has point and shoot cameras available for use.
