Playing original compositions and arrangements by Paul Krueger and John Lake, the quartet also features bassist Alejandro Arenas and drummer Ian Goodman.

Pianist/composer Paul Krueger moved to Los Angeles in 1984 where he worked with Billy Higgins, Charlie Haden, Paul Motien, Bob Shepard, Jeff Diangelo Joe LaBarbara, Darek Oles and some of the Tonight Show Band alumni. He played with Billy Higgins in the last years of his life with the Black Note band and then toured Europe with Solomon Burke and then in Charlie Haden’s West Coast "Liberation Jazz Orchestra".

John Lake has appeared onstage alongside such jazz greats as Art Lande, Brad Goode, Greg Gisbert, Fareed Haque, Rudy Royston, Carl Saunders, Ray Vega, and John Von Ohlen. He has performed at the 2012 Jazz Educator Network National Conference, JazzFest Denver 2010, Jazz Peru 2009 and the 2008 International Society for Improvised Music Conference.
