Symphony Composition Contest

The Florida Orchestra recently gave five USF music students the chance of a lifetime by performing their original compositions.It was part of a contest, and the winning piece will be performed at the Orchestra’s season finale concerts this May. We’ll meet the student composers and talk with Orchestra music director Michael Francis about the contest on University Beat on WUSF 89.7.
