FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Bethune-Cookman University Concert Chorale Returns to Palma Ceia United Methodist Church
The community is invited, once again, to experience the classical and gospel music presented by the Bethune-Cookman Concert Chorale. This multi-talented group of students will present in concert at Palma Ceia United Methodist Church on Sunday, February 17th during all three services.

Bethune-Cookman University is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and was founded by Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune. She began the (then) Daytona Educational and Industrial Training School for African American Girls with $1.50, five little girls and faith in God. Since 1904, the University has graduated more than 13,200 students. Today, the Chorale has over 100 members, an instrumental ensemble, traditional strings, guitarists, and liturgical dancers. The Chorale represents Bethune-Cookman University, performing around the globe and all over the United States.

This concert will mark the ninth year that the Chorale has performed at Palma Ceia United Methodist Church. The renowned and nationally known Bethune-Cookman University Concert Chorale will lead us in the joyful gifts of praises and songs to our God. This concert will uplift your soul and rekindle joy in your heart. And as Psalm 100 says, ‘Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!’ Come and bring a friend.”
