Art Thursday: ZINE FEST

USF Contemporary Art Museum is pleased to present “Zine Fest” – part of the Art Thursday series – celebrating the CAM exhibition SubRosa, which examines the language of art across continents and cultures in response to social, political, and environmental repression.

Zine Fest will feature zines and handmade books by local artists Kevin Brophy, Shae Krispinsky, Gigi Lage, Allison Jai O'Dell, Kelly Steele, Grace Szeja, Yasmin Uriel, Bruce Wright, and the Tampa Drawers Sketch Gang (comprised of Neil Bender, Tim McMillan, Lauren Moradi, Justin Nelson, Sam Newton, Monica Perez, Anthony Record, Ericka Richardson, and Ville Mehtonen).

A dialogue between visiting artist Ramón Esono Ebalé (Equatorial Guinea) and Tutu Alicante, Executive Director of EG Justice, begins at 7pm.

The event will also offer refreshments, music, and more to be announced.

Event is from 6 - 9pm.
