The Sunscreen Film Festival, the longest running mainstream film festival in Tampa Bay presents a special Immigration Program as part of the 12th Annual Sunscreen Film Festival, co-sponsored by Courtyard by Marriott St. Petersburg Downtown, the League of Women Voters of the St. Petersburg Area, and Yakzan Law PLLC.

With the Syrian conflict now in its sixth year, the UN has estimated 6.3 million Syrians have been displaced. After Spring is the story of what happens next. Following refugee families in transition and aid workers fighting to keep the camp running, viewers get a glimpse of what it is like to live in Zaatari, the largest camp for Syrian refugees. With no end in sight for the conflict or this refugee crisis, refugees struggle to rebuild their lives in a place that was never meant to be permanent. After Spring had its World Premiere at the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival.
